Free Admission
We offer complimentary admission for individuals with a rehabilitation certificate, physical disability certificate, or mental disability welfare certificate. Complimentary admission is valid for the individual and up to one accompanying person.
*There is no need to apply in advance, simply present any of the certificates mentioned above at the main reception (ticket counter).
Wheelchair & Stroller Service
The art center has two wheelchairs and two strollers that are available to use free of charge.

Communication Assistance for the Hearing Impaired
For visitors with hearing impairments, we offer communication assistance through written notes. Feel free to request this service, and our staff at reception (ticket counter) and the entrance of special exhibitions can assist you using a tablet or writing materials.

車椅子用スロープの設置
Wheelchair-accessible ramps are installed between the entrance from the accessible parking lot and the rear entrance, as well as at the entrance to the Cube Café and Shop.
If you require assistance, don’t hesitate to ask one of our staff.
A ramp is also available at the entrance to Leandro ERLICH’s Edificio — Buenos Aires.
Please speak to our staff in one of the exhibition spaces, and they will be happy to assist you.
Elevator
An elevator is available for access to the second floor.
Accessible Parking Lot (Priority Parking Space)
There are three parking spaces available behind the art center.
*We prioritize our accessible parking spaces to accommodate those who require extra width for wheelchair access or those who have difficulty walking and require parking near the building.
Service Animal Policy
Guide dogs and other trained service dogs are welcome at the art center.
*Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted.
Wi-Fi
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the Towada Art Center, Cube, and Art Square.
To use the service, you must agree with the terms and conditions found on the Towada City website, after which you will be able to connect to the internet via the Wi-Fi network using your device.

AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
An AED is readily available at reception.
Baby Changing Stations
One baby changing station is available in the accessible toilet in the permanent exhibition space and one in the accessible toilet in the Art Square restroom.
*We do not have changing stations for adults.
Nursing Room
No nursing rooms are available inside the art center or near the Art Square restroom.
Ostomy-Friendly Restroom
There is a multipurpose toilet in the outdoor Art Square restroom.
*We do not have an ostomy-friendly restroom inside the art center.
Emergency Flash Lamps
In an emergency, an announcement will be made guiding you to the nearest exit, and lamps installed in the exhibition room of Mariele NEUDECKER’s This Thing Called Darkness on the second floor will flash.
Luggage Storage
We have 20 coin-operated lockers, which require a 100-yen coin. (The coin will be returned when you retrieve your items.)
Feel free to leave larger items like suitcases with reception.
Umbrellas
Please leave your umbrellas at the umbrella stand located at reception. In order to protect the artwork, umbrellas are not permitted in the exhibition spaces.
During rainy weather, umbrellas are available at the rear entrance for use when visiting Leandro ERLICH’s Edificio — Buenos Aires.
Bicycle Parking
A designated bicycle parking area is available to use free of charge.
The art center will not be held responsible for any theft or loss incurred when using bicycle parking.
No Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in the art center, and we do not have designated smoking areas available.
The use of fire, including smoking, is strictly prohibited inside the art center, in the cafe and shop, and throughout the premises.
No Food and Drink in the Exhibition Spaces
Food and drink (including gum and candy) are prohibited in the exhibition spaces and in any other areas where artworks are being displayed.
