Opening talk by Cafe de Monk

Cafe de Monk is a group of Buddhist priests and clergymen who attentively listen to people living in temporary houses in the areas severely hit by the natural calamity. With the aim of healing their saddened hearts in mind, the group has so far organized a pop-up cafe for their listening activities over 150 times, from Yamada town in Iwate prefecture to Minamisoma city in Fukushima prefecture. We will invite Taiou Kaneta for a talk session. He is the proposer for Cafe de Monk as well as Chief Priest of Tsuudaiji in Kurihara city, Miyagi prefecture.
