10,000th Visitor to Ever Present Figures—The Paintings and Sculptures of Shin Morikita

On Friday, December 8, the Towada Art Center welcomed the 10,000th visitor to Ever Present Figures—The Paintings and Sculptures of Shin Morikita.

The 10,000th visitor was actually a couple who had traveled all the way from Kanagawa Prefecture. They visited the museum while on vacation in Aomori. The couple was pleasantly surprised by their good timing and said it made their visit extra special.

As a small token of appreciation, the couple received a voucher for the soon-to-be-published exhibition catalog, a pair of tickets to the museum, and a locally made brandy cake.

Thank you to everyone who was has visited the Towada Art Center. Ever Present Figures—The Paintings and Sculptures of Shin Morikita is on display until January 28, 2018.
