Takashi Murakami and exhibiting artist Yoshitomo Nara will hold a special talk on the topics of ceramics, sculpture, and art in relation to the Towada Art Center’s current exhibition, Takashi Murakami’s Superflat Consideration on Contemporary Ceramics.
Renowned artist, major collector, curator, and gallerist Takashi Murakami has taken an interest in contemporary ceramics in recent years and will sit down with prolific contemporary artist Yoshitomo Nara, who continues to delight audiences both in Japan and abroad with his wide range of paintings, drawings, sculptures, and other artworks.
The Towada Art Center invites you to come listen to the story behind Nara’s ceramic works and Murakami’s reconsideration of the history of ceramics, the value of art, and the current state of aesthetics.
