2. For the time being, only our permanent collection will be on display. The opening date for Inter+Play #001: Arts Towada 10th Anniversary Exhibition will be announced here on our website at a later date.
3. The Cube Cafe & Shop has also reopened as of Tuesday, June 9, 2020.
4. We may be forced to close again as the situation surrounding COVID-19 continues to develop. For the latest information, please check our website or call us at 0176-20-1127.
Help Prevent the Spread of COVID-19
When visiting the museum:
・ Put on a mask before entering.
*If you do not have one, we have masks available for purchase.
・ Use the disinfectant dispensers available throughout the museum to disinfect your hands and fingers.
・ Use our restrooms to wash your hands with soap for at least 20 seconds.
・ Keep your distance from other visitors at all times while inside the museum.
・ Keep your hands to yourself and do not touch the artwork, walls, or other building surfaces.
・ Please refrain from visiting the museum if you are experiencing fever or cold-like symptoms such as cough or sore throat. This also applies to the elderly and those with underlying conditions who may be at higher risk of infection.
・ If you appear unwell, museum staff may ask you to leave the museum for the safety of other visitors.
・ If you would like to visit the museum in groups of 6 or more, please call us in advance at 0176-20-1127. You will be divided into smaller groups to view the museum.
・ We may restrict admission to reduce congestion in the exhibition rooms.

・ Installation of disinfectant dispensers
・ Regular ventilation of museum buildings
・ Installation of barrier screens at reception
・ Thorough cleaning of public areas (regular disinfection of high-touch surfaces)
・ Use of face masks by staff
・ Use of gloves by staff
・ Thorough monitoring of staff temperature and physical condition before all shifts

Towada Art Center Reopening Thursday, April 12, 2022
The Towada Art Center will reopen as of Tuesday, April 12, following a temporary closure from Saturday, January 22, to Sunday, April 11, to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Changes to previously scheduled events are as follows.
– Behaviour Problem Trio performances have been rescheduled for Saturday, May 14, and Sunday, May 15.

Reopening of the Towada Art Center
