KONDO Tetsuo
Kondo Tetsuo has made this street furniture, titled pot, in a variety of shapes and sizes. The pieces can be used as benches for a quick break, or planters and vases tended by shops in central Towada. All were made to encourage interaction on the streets of Towada.

KONDO Tetsuo
Architect. Born 1975 in Ehime, Japan. Kondo graduated from Nagoya Institute of Technology in 1999. He worked with SEJIMA Kazuyo & Associates and SANAA from 1999 to 2006, and established Tetsuo Kondo Architects in 2006. He is currently a part-time lecturer at Tokyo University of Science and Keio University. His projects include House with Gardens (Yokohama, Japan, 2007) and A Path in the Forest (Tallinn, Estonia, 2011).
